Empowering Jewish Women to Heal and Thrive
At Yacholet, we support Jewish women recovering from sexual abuse, suicidal ideation, depression, anxiety, and complex trauma—with trauma-informed care that truly saves lives.
LIFE SAVING SUPPORT FOR JEWISH WOMEN
Founded in 2020, Yacholet is a Jewish non-profit organization offering a nurturing, trauma-informed program for young Jewish women in crisis.
Located in Hollywood, Florida, we serve young Jewish women who are:
- Victims of abuse, violence, and survivors of trauma
- Struggling with depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, self harm, disordered eating, and other mental health challenges.
- Seeking a nurturing environment to heal, rebuild and thrive
We provide trauma-informed care rooted in love, clinical expertise, and Jewish values—regardless of financial means.

Voices of Healing
"Yacholet helped me gain independence and listened to me as a person. They were able to work with me not against me. The program was accommodative and helped me make tangible and achievable goals. They helped me gain the ability to ask for help as well as help others."
P.L.
"Yacholet's sense of community is what really makes it unique. The women at Yacholet form enduring, sustaining relationships through activities like hanging out together in parks, creating outdoor gardens, or just being there for friends when they need you most.

"After years of being in and out of treatment Yacholet gave me the hope and the tools to be successful in my future. I finally feel capable of living up to my fullest potential."
